Fortune Favors The Bold

There is a commercial running around prime time sports and television that mentions the idea the fortune favors the brave. I’m not sure I agree. For the years the idea that “Fortune favors the Bold” has been spoken around the warrior culture of the Department of Defense, and especially the Ranger and Special Operations Community. Fortune may favor the brave, but what if two equally brave enemies face each other. If bravery is equal, the winner will be the one acts in a bold manner. Case closed.
